The heat surprised a lot of people at this year's Boston Marathon. The top of Heartbreak Hill looked like an Ironman run... a lot of walking.  TriCoach was cheering them on all day!

Weekend Race Report

April 22 & 23, 2017

The weekend started off  on Saturday with a spint tri for Christiane Neaves – The Richmond Tri-Group Sprint Triathlon.  This was Christiane’s first tri of the season, and she earned first place in her age group.

On Sunday, TriCoach was well represented at the Coastal Delaware Running Festival, with Jackie Cooper running the full marathon, Kathy Hundley, Joydeep Haldar, Erin Johnson, and Coach Clayton running the Half Marathon, and Betsy Tootell, Dee Carmean, Kristan Trugman, and Susan DiMondi running the 9K.   Jackie ran a Boston qualifying time (3:52), Kathy competed in her first half marathon,  Joydeep ran his personal best (1:40) and received a 2nd age group medal,  Erin ran a personal best (1:38) and received a 3rd place age group medal, Coach Clayton got 2nd in his age group, Betsy received 3rd place in her age group, and Susan ran her longest distance race to date.

It was a good weekend for TriCoach athletes!

Kevin Portmann 16th in his first pro race at Oceanside 70.3.  Great result!

We had a great day in Philly on March 26th at the #phillyloverun. We had one first time half marathoner (Kristan) and two PR's (Sandy and Christiane). Great job, everybody!
